Maplewood Career Center Celebrates School Board Recognition Month in January

Maplewood Career Center will join more than 700 school districts throughout Ohio to celebrate January as School Board Recognition Month. Our school board members are local citizens who dedicate their time and energy to ensure the children of our community receive the best possible education. They work closely with parents, educational professionals, our home school districts and community members to create an educational vision for our students.

The school board’s focus is always on the future success of the Maplewood students. They volunteer hundreds of hours and an immeasurable amount of energy to ensure that our students are prepared to be successful citizens and the leaders of tomorrow. The members serving the Maplewood Career Center School Board include:

Roger Boltz – President, Ravenna

Chelli Yoho – Vice President, Mogadore

Mandy Berardinelli, Windham

Patricia Brett, Garfield

Victoria Brock, Waterloo

Mary Kaley, Southeast

Donna Karg, Field

Jay Kelsey, Rootstown

Bonnie LoveJoy, Crestwood

Joan Seman, Ravenna

Brian Violi, Streetsboro

For all their dedication, we are taking this opportunity to show them our appreciation during School Board Recognition Month, and we’d like to ask you to do the same. Take a moment and tell our school board members, “Thanks for caring about our children and giving so much to our community.” Let them know we support them and that their dedicated service is recognized and appreciated.
