Additional Job  Details:

Cook and prepare food for residents, guests, and employees.

Prepare food according to the planned menu using standard recipes.

Plate food items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.

Ensure that sufficient food is prepped and/or prepared.

Communicate with the supervisor of shortages or outages.

Ensure freshness, cooking status, and proper seasoning of all foods served. Stock and clean station for the next shift.

Follow proper food rotation policies.

Each Cook must have knowledge of the resident rights and ensures an atmosphere that allows for privacy, dignity, and well-being of all residents in a safe and secure environment.

Maintain safety, including universal precautions and safe work practices, established fire/safety/disaster plans, risk management, and security.

Clean and inspect kitchen appliances and work areas in order to ensure cleanliness and functional operation.

Present a professional appearance by wearing a uniform and name tag.

Consistently maintains a positive attitude that supports a team environment.

Promotion of positive public relations with residents, family members, and guests

Maintenance Technician

The Operations and Maintenance Certified Technician must be an independent working self-starter, with excellent customer-oriented communication skills. Will be responsible for performing routine service and inspection of all mechanical equipment, electrical and plumbing systems, fire and security systems, as well as prioritize tasks.

The Operations and Maintenance Certified Technician must be able to perform preventative and predictive maintenance of complex utility systems, as well as be flexible to perform general facility maintenance, minor repairs and a variety of miscellaneous duties as assigned. This person must be flexible to be on call when needed, to provide customer assistant for emergency repairs and will report too and work directly with the maintenance supervisor.

Working Hours:
This is a full-time second shift, 3:30 p.m. – 12 a.m., Monday-Friday position.

Essential Skills:
The Operations and Maintenance Certified Technician should have at least three years experience, knowledge in building/remodeling, building practices/trades, HVAC, refrigeration, controls, boilers, laundry equipment, environmental services, fire and safety systems, emergency power systems, vehicle maintenance and the standards, practices and procedures that govern long term care facilities.
