Financial Aid

At this time, Maplewood Career Center Adult Education does not offer Financial Aid through the workforce development school. However, students may be eligible if they contact the following agencies.

Job & Family Services Tuition Assistance

Funds may be available through county Departments of Job & Family Services to
eligible persons who may be receiving TANF benefits or fall below 200 percent of the poverty guidelines designated by the Federal government. The Department of Job & Family Services seeks to assist, train, and employ economically disadvantaged clients. Displaced homemakers and dislocated workers may be eligible for these funds. Veterans Affairs Benefits (VA)

Educational benefits available for eligible veterans and dependents of veterans who were injured or deceased in a war. If you are not sure you are eligible for Veterans Affairs (VA) Benefits assistance, you can call 1-888-442-4551.

Workforce Investment Act Individualized Training Accounts

The federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA) provides federal funds to states for job training and employment services. The Department of Job & Family Services seeks to assist, train, and employ
