ASPIRE
To provide quality leadership to ASPIRE Programs for the development, improvement, and expansion of lifelong learning opportunities for adults in their family, community, and work roles.
GED
GED testing is administered by a testing company called Pearson Vue. The costs for the GED exam are determined by Pearson Vue and the Ohio Department of Education. The testing center and ABLE have no control over the test fees. It is recommended that you create your GED account a week to 10 days in advance.
ESOL
English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Portage County, Ohio: Learn basic English skills, study for your citizenship exam, or work on your resume for a job, classes and materials free-of charge, classes all year round, classes in Kent and Streetsboro.
PCLC
The Portage County Literacy Coalition (PCLC), a non-profit organization, has made significant progress during the past 28 years by increasing awareness of literacy issues, promoting growth, expansion, and services to literacy programs in Portage County.
